"Smoke on the water" was re-recorded by a bunch of rock celebrities as a fund-raiser for the victims of an earthquake in Armenia on 7th December 1988. Reportedly, Gillan was never invited to the recordings but showed up anyway since "it's basically my song anyway". Needless to say, Blackmore left the studio. Is this really true? Or just gossip? Anyway, the rest of the album is a compilation of rock goodies.

The Assassination Of John F. Kennedy - Four Days That Shocked The World (1992)
This CD is a reissue of 1963 album that contained various radio & TV news clips documenting the entire event. However, this reissue adds a Joe Meek instrumental at the end called "Kennedy March", which is performed by the Joe Meek Orchestra (incl. Ritchie Blackmore on guitar).
